Katrusia Pohoreski joined Shumka in 2009, dancing in countless performances over the years including our Shumka at 50! tours of Canada and China from 2009-2014. Off the stage, Katrusia served as Shumka’s Vice President, a board member, and sat on numerous committees before completing medical school and becoming a pediatric resident physician.

Shumka finds its strength in its people, and Katrusia’s leadership on and offstage strengthened our company and brought our community closer together. Thank you, Katrusia.
