Joyce Howell’s sons, Murray and Doug, both began dancing for Shumka in the early 2000s. Before long, she too got caught up in the whirlwind, assisting with costumes for Shumka’s premiere of Cinderella, and later going on to work on numerous productions over the subsequent decades up to today.

Along with the rest of our dedicated costume moms, Joyce has helped our company take the stage looking its best, and has been vital in making Shumka what it is today. Thank you, Joyce.
