Shumka 2025 Capital Campaign

In Fall of 2025, Shumka launched a Capital Campaign for much-needed external and internal facility upgrades. With a deadline of December 31st, the campaign raised more than $25,000 (50% of our goal) plus matching funds from an anonymous donor. With these donations, City of Edmonton Storefront Improvement Program Funds, and the Winspear Fund supporting the project via the Edmonton Community Foundation Community Grants Program, the Shumka Dance Centre will undergo renovations in the Spring. From new windows to fresh paint, the building will be bright and shiny by the summer.
