The Shumka Dance Festival invites community organizations and businesses to advertise in the festival playbill. This beautifully crafted playbill is not only an essential guide for attendees, featuring event schedules and details on participating dance clubs, but it also serves as a keepsake for dancers, families, and audiences.

*All playbill ad purchases include digital display of your advertisement on televisions throughout the facility. With numerous screens, including two on either side of the main stage that feature the festival schedule, your ad will appear between dances and during adjudications, ensuring excellent visibility and repeated exposure to all attendees.

The 2025 festival featured 21 dance groups from across Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba, approximately 2,500 people, 300+ entries, 50 instructors, and almost 900 dancers ages 3 to adult. Your advertisement will provide excellent visibility for your organization or business, reaching an engaged audience passionate about Ukrainian dance.

Advertisement Sizes & Fees*

• ¼ Page Ad (5.4 x 6.99 cm): $100.00 + GST
• ½ Page Ad Horizontal (10.8 x 13.97 cm): $150.00 + GST
• Full Page Ad Vertical (13.97 x 21.59 cm): $250.00 + GST
• Backpage Vertical (13.97 x 21.59 cm): $350.00 + GST
• Inside front cover Vertical (13.97 x 21.59 cm): $350.00 + GST

File Submission Guidelines

• To ensure your advertisement looks its best in the printed program, follow these guidelines.
• Submit high-resolution files in JPEG, PNG, or PDF formats in the noted dimensions only.
• Recommended resolution: 300 dpi.

Payment Options

• For cheque payments, you may either drop them off in person or mail them. Cheques should be made payable to “Ukrainian Shumka Dancers.” Please place cheques in an envelope and be sure to clearly state the name of the dance club, either on the envelope itself or in an accompanying note.
