Abigail’s dance career started when she was just four years old with the Avrora Ukrainian Dancers in Fort McMurray. Following her family to Edmonton, Abigail joined the Shumka  School of Dance where her love for the Shumka family grew. In 2022, she successfully auditioned for Studia Shumka where she could have training to guide her towards her goal of Shumka. Abigail is now excited to be apart of Shumka where she can share her love for Ukrainian culture and dance with the world. She is currently studying at the University of Alberta, working towards a degree in Psychology with a minor in Ukrainian folklore.
