New Works Gala
The Red Boots, Ballet and Bubbly New Works Gala is Shumka’s only annual fundraiser and helps ensure Shumka’s presence on the local, national and international performing arts scenes by premiering Shumka’s new dance creations to the general public.
Shumka’s Gala has been honoured by the patronage of many performing arts luminaries including the legendary Christopher Plummer and Veronica Tennant, and generates a multitude of performance and promotional opportunities for the company. A feast for the senses, Red Boots, Ballet and Bubbly is quickly becoming known as the “must see” Gala of the season in Edmonton’s arts and entertainment community.
Donations of all amounts are gratefully accepted and sponsorships of the various components of Shumka’s Gala are also available. Click here for Gala sponsorship options.
Your donation to Shumka’s Red Boots, Ballet and Bubbly New Works Gala will help Shumka acquire the tools to create its art, including the talents of internationally renowned choreographers, composers, producers, musicians, dancers and stage technicians from across Canada and around the world.
