Shumka appeared as guest artists in touring Christmas variety specials with Andrea Bocelli, Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Denyce Graves, soloists of the Royal Ballet of Covent Garden, Bolshoi Ballet, Kyiv Ballet, and Royal Winnipeg Ballet in major cities such as New York, Boston, and Chicago.

The next public auditions for the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Shumka Studios at 12245-131 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
Experience in Ukrainian dance is an asset but individuals with high-calibre training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, gymnastics or another style of Heritage dance will be given every consideration.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 16 years old or in Grade 10.
